New engineering faculty building with maximum daylighting and natural ventilation to reduce need for mechanical services. Most spaces naturally ventilated using cross-ventilation and stack effect. Mechanical ventilation provided to labs where fume extract required. Laboratory noise control is aided by perforated and double-skinned walls. Won 1995 Green Building of the Year.
